About Tunisia

Tunisia occupies a varied landscape from the Mediterranean coast to the Sahara Desert, covering 163,610 square kilometers.

Its geography is divided into four regions: the fertile north, semiarid center, coastal Sahel, and the arid south.

The capital, Tunis, serves as the main gateway via Tunis–Carthage International Airport. High season on Tunisia’s Mediterranean beaches runs June to September, while desert excursions around Tozeur are best between October and April when temperatures are cooler.
